EGU support for Young Scientists
The European Geosciences Union (EGU) has given a financial support to the conference, in order to facilitate the participation in the 14th EGU Plinius Conference on Mediterranean Storms and MEDEX Final Conference of key young scientists.
The candidates must be scientist, 35 years old or less, and they have to submit an abstract to the conference.
The support for every selected candidate will consist of the payment of the conference fee, if the registration is done within the period of early registration, and a partial payment of the stay, up to €160, if the accommodation is in the hotels that will be indicated by the organisation.
Candidates to take profit of this support can submit applications, by e-mail, to Dr. Agusti Jansa, AEMET, Spain, chairman of the Programme and Organising Committees, before 23 September 2012, providing the following information:
- Complete name, e-mail adress and normal address;
- Post and very short CV (half a page) of the candidate;
- Connection with MEDEX and other Mediterranean projects, if any;
- Title and abstract of the contribution to the conference.
